Tool Integrations

I have experience of direct tool integrations using COM API’s, but this approach has fallen out of favour recently and I now recommend indirect integrations using industry standard data formats such as XMI.

XMI provides a future-proof integration method that has many advantages over direct integrations that were vulnerable to tool version changes.

With my library of application-specific XSLT stylesheets, I can import data from any source in XML format. This allows import of data into DOORS from any tool that supports XML and provides a robust mechanism for establishing full-lifecycle traceability, no matter what other design and test tools are used.
